Quran & Bible -- Pharaoh & Professor Bucaille

Ramesses II is one of the more popular candidates for the Pharaoh of the Exodus mentioned in Quran & Bible both. His body was discovered in 1881 among a group of royal mummies that had been removed from their original tombs for fear of theft. Priests of the 21st Dynasty had reburied them in a cache at Deir al-Bahari on Luxor’s west bank.
.
Ramesses II was originally buried in the tomb KV7 in the Valley of the Kings but, because of looting, priests later transferred the body to a holding area, re-wrapped it, and placed it inside the tomb of queen Inhapy. Seventy-two hours later it was again moved, to the tomb of the high priest Pinudjem II. All of this is recorded in hieroglyphics on the linen covering the body. His mummy is today in Cairo's Egyptian Museum.
.
False and fictitious propaganda against Islam and its Prophet, by the Christian clergy and by biased Orientalists who misguided class of people could not believe that Quran was the only Scripture which had remained sacrosanct and free from all additions, alterations and interpolations and consequently, it still retained the purity to guide mankind in all ages, places and in every conceivable crisis.
.
When Francisco Mitra became the president of France in 1981, France requested the Egyptian government to host the mummy of Pharaoh for the purpose of running laboratory and archaeological examinations. Upon arrival royal attendants were there including the French president himself and all ministers who bowed in honor for the mummy.
.
The scientists were headed by Professor Maurice Bucaille. Scientists were trying to restore the mummy while Professor Maurice was mainly concerned with how did this mummy die! The final report of the scientists was released late at night which states that the remaining salt in the mummy is an overt evidence that it was drawn in the sea, and the body was rescued very shortly where it was immediately embalmed to be saved An amazing thing was still confusing Professor Maurice is that how could this body possibly be safer than any other mummy despite being taken out of the sea up until this time. Professor Maurice was writing his final report on what he thought would be a new discovery about saving Pharaoh's body immediately after his death and embalming it And there, someone whispered to him that Muslims claim to know something about the drowning of this mummy. Yet the Professor firmly denied such thing saying that it's impossible to discover this without the development of science and without using his high-tech and complicated laboratories and computers.
.
To his surprise, he was told that Muslims believe in a book called "Quran" and this Quran narrates the story of Pharaoh's drowning and ensures the safety of his body after his death as to be a Sign to mankind. The Professor couldn't believe his own ears and started to wonder: How can a book existed 1400 years ago speak about the mummy that was only found 200 years ago, in 1898?? How can that be possible while the ancient Egyptian heritage was discovered only a few decades ago and no one knew about it before?? The Professor sat down pondering on what he was told about the book of Muslims while his Holy Book narrates only the drowning of Pharaoh without saying anything about his body
"Is it possible that this mummy in front of me is the one who was chasing Moses??!!" "Is it possible that Muhammad knew this 1400 years ago??!!"
.
The Professor couldn't sleep that night till they brought him the Old Testament where he read: "the sea drowned Pharaoh and his army, no one else was left alive" He was surprised that the Holy Book didn't mention about the destiny of the body and that it will be saved When the scientists were done with the mummy, France retuned it to Egypt, but Professor Maurice couldn't rest for a moment since he was told that Muslims know about the safety of the body. So, he decided to travel and meet anatomy Muslim scientists and there he spoke about his discovery of the safety of the mummy after its death in the sea and so on.
.
One of the Muslim scientists stood up and simply opened the Quran and pointed to the Professor at one verse:
We shall preserve your body today that you may be a lesson for those who come after you; as most people neglect Our signs.
(Quran 10:92).
.
The Professor was struck when he read that and immediately stood in front of the crowd and said loudly: "I believe in Islam, I believe in Quran" Then he went back to France with a different face he traveled with and dedicated 10 years investigating the scientific discoveries and comparing them with the Quran and trying to come up with one scientific contradiction with the Quran. Finally he quoted one verse from the Quran to be his conclusion:
"No falsehood can approach it (this book) from before or behind it: it is sent down by One Full of Wisdom, Worthy of all praise"
(Quran 41:42)
.
In 1976, Bucaille published his book, The Bible, The Qur'an and Science which argued that the Quran contains no statements contradicting established scientific facts. Bucaille argued that the Quran is in agreement with scientific facts, while the Bible is not. He states that in Islam, science and religion have always been "twin sisters". According to Bucaille, there are monumental errors of science in the Bible and not a single error in the Quran. Bucaille's belief is that the Quran's descriptions of natural phenomena make it compatible with modern science. Bucaille concludes that the Quran is the Word of God. Bucaille argues that some of the most celebrated scientific discoveries in the 20th century, were described in detail and accuracy. Bucaille gives examples of astronomy, embryology, and multiple other subjects that had major advances in the 20th century.
.
"Bucailleism" is a term used for the movement to relate modern science with religion, and especially that of Islam. Since the publishing of The Bible, the Quran and Science, Bucaillists have promoted the idea that the Quran is of divine origin, arguing that it contains scientifically correct facts.
.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Bucailleism is "in some ways the Muslim counterpart to Christian creationism" although "while creationism rejects much of modern science, Bucailleism embraces it". It described Bucailleism as being "disdained by most mainstream scholars" but said it has fostered pride in Muslim heritage and played an important role in attracting converts.
.
The Quran and the Bible [Exodus 14:21-30 and Exodus 15:19-21] state that the Pharaoh was drowned in the sea. However, the Qur’an differs from the Bible and it makes a very unique statement that the body of the drowned Pharaoh was saved as a sign for future generations. The Quranic statement about rescuing Pharaoh’s body would be in total agreement with the fact that the body of Rameses II has survived in a mummified form.

Your Name Affects Your Behavior

Your Name Affects Your Behavior
Why, Susie Sells Seashells by the Seashore?━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Short answer is, your Name Affects your Behavior.“Research on unconscious self-enhancement – or what we call implicit egotism – suggests that people’s positive automatic associations about themselves may influence their feelings about almost anything that people associate with the self,” write researchers Brett W. Pelham, Matthew C. Mirenberg, and John T. Jones of the State University of New York at Buffalo in their 2002 report, “Why Susie Sells Seashells by the Seashore: Implicit Egotism and Major Life Decisions,” published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.According to research on the concept, the letters of your name have been found to influence personal life decisions as significant as where you live, what you do for a living, even who you fall in love with, even your choice of a political candidate depends on the letters of your name.

Effects of Tasbeeh

Q) What are the effects of tasbeeh?
Ans) W salam...sir no rocket science is there to understand the effects of tasbi on you...
Let me clear you first, having more than enough money... comfort zone... wealth... luxurious life... they're not standards to determines ur effects of tasbi....
Life is not static...Money comes and goes...children come and go.. parent come and go...life is all about transitional period, you've to prepare urself to cope up all deficiencies in it...you've to give ur acceptance to God for very short period and you've to understand this fact nothin is absolute in life...only one thing is absolute that is God...
Against whole phenomenon above, only tasbi can help you to concentrate on and to focus on ur vantage point, and that is God... phir us ke bahd tasbi ke asraat sub se pehle aap ke dil pe hon ge...if ur heart is in peace then it means tasbi is working whether situation is tough or whole situation standing against you...but your heart will be so satisfied with God as if nothing left in ur life to fullfill it except the only one whom you remembered utmost... who generates ur thoughts n then he who refines them aswell...who is sitting very calm in depth of ur heart...ur top priority...
Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah there is peace of heart...

Q) If someone feels that he is not coping with his current situation then should he increase the tasbeeh?
Ans) Sir, if i advise you u better increase this dua as much as you can....

O Allah, help me in remembering You, in giving You thanks, and worshipping You well. ]
(Sunan Abu Dawud)

when you finish ur tasbih then start asking this duah as a tasbih.

Don't You think?

When you learn something new, the structure of your brain changes.
After hitting every single fruitful thought, activity of 100 billion neurons & one trillion glial cells start exercising to make a better structure of ur brain. And this development of your brain keep going until your late 40's...

Think: Before It's Too Late....
But the question arises that does this process stops at late 40s if yes then why have we been asked to strive for knowledge till you can die?
And answer by محمد جنید أحمد goes like this
Im not going to reply with short, why we have to strive for knowledge from cradle to grave, even-though i have simple answer of this query, when your brain start losing efficiency it doesn't mean, you are losing your whole Cognitive Brain...it is simple that less efficient brain brings less progress in brain development which leads to less cognition...and less cognition is still the cognition...

Now come to the lengthy answer, first of all you should need to understand that, some changes are inevitable, but we have to learn how would we have to manage those inevitable changes, which are pretty much certain in our upcoming lives....

Like the rest of your body, your brain changes with each passing year. From the time we are infants, our brains are adapting, learning, making memories and more. We become smarter and sharper, earning the wisdom that truly only comes with life experience. Once we hit our late twenties, the brain’s aging process begins and we begin losing neurons—the cells that make up the brain and nervous system. By our sixties, our brains have literally begun to shrink...this is what neuroscience explains...

But you have to learn how your brain changes as you age to get a better handle on what is happening in this magical part of your body.

First i'll start from very important part of our brain, which is called prefrontal cortex...Professor Sarah-Jayne Blakemore, a neuroscientist with the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience at University College London says,

" The prefrontal cortex is the region at the front of the brain just behind the forehead, and is an area of the brain that undergoes the longest period of development. It is an important area of the brain for high cognitive functions such as planning and decision-making, and it is also a key area for social behavior, social awareness, for empathy and understanding and interacting with other people, and various personality traits. Prof. Blakemore said the prefrontal cortex “is the part of the brain that makes us human,” since there is such a strong link between this area of the brain and a person’s personality.
Prof. Blakemore said brain scans show the prefrontal cortex continues to change shape as people reach their 30s and up to their late 40s. "

Bottom line of above research is that Brain is not fully mature until 40s...same thing Allah mentioned in Quran
[He (Man) grows] until, when he reaches maturity and reaches the age of forty years,

(Al-Ahqaf : 15)

Age 40's-50's
----------
According to research in the British Medical Journal, From your mid 40s to late 50s, your reasoning skills slow. In a group of people who were first tested on various mental abilities when they were 45–49 years old, reasoning skills declined by 3.6 percent over 10 years.
The middle-age participants also experienced fading sharpness in memory and verbal fluency—the ability to say words quickly in a specific category.

Age 60's-70's
----------
According to researchers at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. in 60s, The brain has begun to shrink in size and, after a lifetime of gaining accumulated knowledge, it becomes less efficient at accessing that knowledge and adding to it. The greatest risk factor for Alzheimer’s is advancing age, and most individuals with the disease are 65 or older. Surprisingly, when Alzheimer’s hits people in their 60s and 70s, they show faster rates of brain tissue loss and cognitive decline compared to patients 80 years and older.

Age 70's-80
---------
in 70s and 80s, Your risk of developing Alzheimer’s increases with age, reaching 50 percent by age 85...

Crux of above stages Allah pointing out in Quran,

It is God who creates you, then makes you die; and some reach the age of dotage when Men forget those things which they had knowledge about them. God is indeed all-knowing and all-powerful.

(Surah An-Nahl : 70)

How can we boost our brain?
--------------------
1) Keep Educating yourself, for this you have to get out of the comfort zone to push and nourish your brain. Do anything from learning a foreign language, study new subjects and taking a different route to work. Such stretching is exactly what scientists say best keeps a brain in tune.

2) Exercise pumps blood to the brain and encourages the growth of new brain cells

3) Mentally stimulating activities may help reverse cognitive decline.

4) Invest in your bonds with friends and loved ones.

5) Eat & Drink in Moderation

These above precautions you may take them to help your reverse cognitive decline... you must have to keep in mind that some changes are inevitable...but you have to indulge in learning which will let you to manage inevitable changes in ur body...this is the actual learning we should keep getting it from cradle to grave...

About Creation of Universe

0 Step (Nothingness Except God)
****************************
As all scientists are agreed on one point before Bang Bang, that there was nothingness, only darkness was prevailing in this universe…

HADTIH, Ibn Kathir
^^^^^^^^^^^^^
"Allah Almighty created creation in darkness and then on that day He cast to them some of His light. Whoever got some of His light on that day is guided, and whoever missed is misguided."

This Hadith Guides us everything was created in darkness then Allah illuminated the heavens & earth with the his light as we see in Above pic…Allah explains in Quran the mechanism of his light, and how it works… He says

(An-Nur-38)
God is the light of the heavens and the earth. The semblance of His light is that of a niche in which is a lamp, the flame within a glass, the glass a glittering star as it were, lit with the oil of a blessed tree, the olive, neither of the East nor of the West, whose oil appears to light up even though fire touches it not, -- light upon light.

before Edwin Hubble (1920), thirteen centuries before Quran describes the entire cycle of the beginning, Expansion, the end and the return again to a similar beginning…

1st Step (Beginning of Universe):
****************************

The first step of creation as related in the Quran accurately describes the event of the Big Bang in the following words:

(Surah Anbiya - 31)
Do not the unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were a closed-up mass (ratqan), then We clove them asunder (fataqna)? And We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?

In this verse the words ratqan (closed-up mass), and fataqna (We clove them asunder), carry the basic message of the whole verse. Authentic Arabic lexicons give two meanings of ratqan, that have great relevance to the topic under discussion. One meaning is 'the coming together of something and the consequent infusion into a single entity' and the second meaning is 'total darkness'. Both these meanings are significantly applicable.

2nd Step (Expansion of Universe):
*****************************

It should be remembered that the concept of the continuous expansion of the universe is exclusive to the Quran. No other Divine scriptures even remotely hint at it. The discovery that the universe is constantly expanding is of prime significance to scientists, because it helps create a better understanding of how the universe was initially created, as we see in Above Cover photo (13.7 Billions of Years upto today)

Quran explains it

(Surah Zariyaat : 41)
And the heaven We built with Our own powers (aydin) and indeed We go on expanding it (musi'un).

3rd Step (Contraction of Universe):
******************************

Remember the day when We shall roll up the heavens like the rolling up of written scrolls, We shall revert it (to nothing) as it was before We first created it. This is a promise incumbent on Us; We will certainly fulfil it.

Scientific descriptions illustrating the making of a black hole, very closely resemble what the Quran describes in the above verse…A mass of accretion from space falling into a black hole, as described above, would be pressed into a sheet under the enormous pressure created by the gravitational and electromagnetic forces. As the centre of the black hole is constantly revolving around itself, this sheet—as it approaches—will begin to be wrapped around it, before disappearing into the realm of the unknown at last…Allah knows better actual Contraction of Universe…

Then we’ll end up this discussion with words of our Beloved Prophet PBUH:

HADITH
^^^^^^
Abu Hurairah R.A. narrated that Prophet PBUH said :

" The Angel of Death will say to Allah...O Allah! Those Are in the Heavens & All Those Are in The Dunya, They Have Come To an End Except For Those Who You Wish to Remain Alive...
Allah Will Say, Who Remains? And The Angel Will Say; O Allah, Jibrail Remains, Mikail Remains, Israfil Remains And The Angel Who Are Carrying Your Throne, They Remain...
Allah The Almighty Will Say: Let Death Come to Jibrail, Let Death Come to Mikail, Let Death Come to Israfil, And Let Death Come To All Those Angel Who Are Carrying My Throne...
Then Allah Will Say To the Angel Of Death, Who Remains? & He Knows better Who Remains...And The Angel Will Say, O Allah: I Remain, You Remain, No One Else Remains...And Then Allah Will Say, I Created You For A Purpose, You Have Fullfilled Your Purpose, You Also Die And He Will Die...
And The Allah The Almighty, He will Roll Up All the Heavens In His Hand, He Will Roll Up All The World In His Hand And Allah Will Raise His Voice And Allah Will Say: I'M the Almighty Allah, I'm The Almighty Allah...For Whom Is The Devine Rule Today? For Whom Is the Power Today? For Whom Is the Kingdom Today? I'm The King Of All Kings...Where are your Dictators? Where Are Your Oppressors? No One Will Answer, Allah Himself Will Answer And Allah Will Say: Power is For Allah, Might Is For Allah, The One, The Only, The Irresistible."

CONSEQUENTLY… ALLAH IS THE AWAL & HE IS THE AKHIR….WE CAME SOME-WHERE IN BETWEEN JUST LIKE MODE OF DUST… to God we belong and to Him shall we return---(Al Quran)…

Why "Ya Hayee Ya Qaum"?

Dua for the first Ashra of Ramzaan is
Now the question is what is the wisdom behind "Hayee and Qayum" and why not "Rehman and Rheem"? I m sure there must be But I DO NOT know about it and just want to know about it.
